Our story
My father put a leaf in my hands before I could write my name.

I was raised in the rolling rooms of Estelí, Nicaragua, where my family has worked the leaf for four generations. My father taught me by feel, the way his own father taught him.
He gave his whole life to that leaf, forty years at the same table. It was the work he loved. And in the end, it was the work that took him.
I sat with him near the end and made him a promise. I would keep the craft alive, but I would carry it forward without the tobacco.
I built a cure of my own that draws the sugars, the starches, and the chlorophyll from the hemp leaf. Whole leaf, no tobacco, no nicotine. I called it the migar.
